The start-up positive parenting based in Cottenham was referred to at the Startup Awards 2025 East of England as the Social Enterprise of the Year winner.
The Parenting, founded by Lauren O’Carroll in 2023, is a rapidly growing social company that supports neurodive families to thrive, whereby a specialized focus is on helping parents with ADHD-frequently overlooked in the traditional support of parents’ parents.
Lauren O’Carroll is recognized as a social enterprise of the year at the UK Startup Awards 2025 for the east of England.
Whether through one-to-one coaching or the inviting community of membership, positive parenting helps adults with small children, more relaxed, more connected and confident how to react to their child-and quickly spread out, with families joining them from all over the world.
Prof. Dylan Jones-Evans, Creator of the British Startup Awards, said: “I am very pleased that the positive parenthood has won its category at the prices, and I am looking forward to the fact that you will be present the” best “from the east of England later this year.”
“Winning the social Enterprise of the Year feels like a big moment, not only for me, but for every parent who ever had the feeling that he could fail because of his own ADHD,” says Lauren.
“I created a positive parenting because I could not find support that recognized how difficult it is for parents if they are the one who has to deal with emotional regulation, executive function and overwhelmed problems, and they will still model it for their children.

“In just two years, we were drawn into the closer election for the three national awards that were regularly presented in international media, and I am about to appear in a national television documentary about ADHD in children. I also shared stadiums with leading names in neurosciences and parenting.
“This award is the beginning of something even bigger.”
The final of the National UK Startup Awards will take place on September 11th at the Ideas.
– A positive parenting was also nominated in the “Social Enterprise of the Year” category in the Cambridge Independent Business Awards, which will take place on September 25th at King’s.
